Interpersonal Communication Strategies

Each of us have certain personality preferences, that when combined, form a style of interaction. When interacting with others, we must consider his/her personality driven communication preferences or risk alienating that person.

Responding appropriately will deepen the relationship and strengthen the bond of trust. Any professional who must communicate ideas, instructions, sell, or work in a team environment will benefit from this session.

Upon completion of this course you will be able to:

  • Understand how we can unintentionally rub people the wrong way

The information presented in this workshop is based on the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator published by Consulting Psychologists Press. This popular inventory of personality preferences is administered millions of times each year in six different languages. Its purpose is to help people identify the gifts these personality preferences provide. There are 16 different gift patterns. There are none that are better than others, just different.
